Beware the Draguck

This is something I was experimenting at College today for my final major project. I'm doing an animation that is set in a bayeux tapestry world with a cut-out animation style simmilar to that of Noggin the Nog & the animations of Terry Gilliam. I cant reveal the plot but i can show you one of its characters which is a 'Draguck', a pretty terrifying monster.

I made this image using a fabric texture which has been inked over and trodden on to look old, worn and dirty and then used photoshop opacity and filters to make the image 'part' of the tapestry.

So i hope you like it and it may inspire me to make tapestry images in the future.
